LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Ultra Electronics Holdings Plc (ULE.L), a defence, security, transport and energy company, said Wednesday it named Amitabh Sharma as Group Finance Director, with effect from May 4, 2016. He was serving the role on an interim basis, after Mary Waldner resigned in March 2016.
In accordance with paragraph 9.6.11 of the Listing Rules, Amitabh will be appointed to the Board and will report directly to the Chief Executive, Rakesh Sharma.
Amitabh Sharma, who is not related to the Chief Executive, Rakesh Sharma, in any way, earlier served as the Group's Financial Controller from 1999 to 2005.
Prior to this, he was Group Finance Director at Gibbs and Dandy plc and a Divisional Finance Director at Saint Gobain. He has also been an audit manager with KPMG in London and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993.
