PEMBROKE PINES, FL--(Marketwired - June 10, 2016) - The Craig Zinn Automotive Group, South Florida's Premier Auto Group presented The American Cancer Society - Florida Division with a check in the amount of $95,775 from proceeds raised via the Subaru of Pembroke Pines Share the Love Promise.
Subaru of America Inc. has donated nearly $20 million to national and local charities during its 2015 Share the Love event, a record total in the eight-year history of the campaign. Held at the end of each year, Subaru donates $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to the customer's choice of one of several national or local charities. In total, Subaru has donated nearly $70 million to charitable organizations through this initiative over the past eight years.
For the last two years in addition to Subaru of America's donation, local retailers have also participated and contributed via matching of hometown charity donations. The Craig Zinn Automotive Group who owns and operates Subaru of Pembroke Pines selected The American Cancer Society - Florida Division as this year's beneficiary. Not only did they donate $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased, but also Craig Zinn, President and CEO at the Craig Zinn Automotive Group and the Zinn family matched and donated an additional $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased.
