NORWALK, CT -- (Marketwired) -- 06/30/16 -- Dr. Rick Rosen, a Connecticut Plastic Surgeon, says one of the most popular trends in cosmetic surgery is larger buttocks through a procedure called the Brazilian butt lift. Dr. Rosen goes on to say, "I never thought I would see the day when women call our office saying they want a bigger bottom."
During the years of Baywatch the trend was large breasts; now we are seeing the social media influences of Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez and women want butts just like them. The procedure of choice these days is fat grafting for larger buttocks. That's correct, you can liposuction out the fat from one area of the body and have it placed in your buttocks for the Brazilian butt lift. The other option is for buttock implants, but most prefer the fat grafting procedure according to Dr. Rosen.
Dr. Rosen warns, "Don't fall for these cheap marketing schemes targeting cheap buttock augmentation by injecting fillers like foam fillers, and there was one report of woman receiving concrete as the filler." Be careful there are lots of unscrupulous people out there that are trying to make a quick buck on a hot trend. Many of these people fall prey for these schemes because they are cheaper, but in the end spend much more and some have become seriously ill. Many of these procedures are taking place outside the U.S. and in Florida.
Using your own body's fat is by far the safest way to plump up your derriere, not only do you get the buttocks you desire but you will slim down in areas like the belly and muffin top. Most patients are very excited about the results and the recovery is very quick about one week.
Dr. Rosen is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a fellow on the American College of Surgeon and is a past selection of the Castle and Connolly's list of best plastic surgeons in the region. He is a recipient of the "Top Doc" award in Connecticut by Connecticut magazine 2001-2015 to be nominated best plastic surgeon in Connecticut is extremely rewarding as it was on recommendations by physicians.
