CARGOTEC CORPORATION, PRESS RELEASE, 22 AUGUST 2016 AT 1 PM EEST
Hiab, part of Cargotec, will showcase its latest load handling innovations at Elmia Lastbil exhibition in Jönköping, Sweden on 24-27 August. On Hiab stand U501:10 we present the HiVision as well as the latest launches from HIAB heavy cranes and mid-range cranes and the brand new hooklift, MULTILIFT XR26SL, strongest in class.
Hans Winscher, Head of Sales in North Europe, says: "During 2016 we have brought several new product innovations to the market. These reflect our vision to unlock the full potential of load handling in our customers' businesses, and we have been happy to notice how much they have raised interest. In Elmia, we want our visitors to experience the future of load handling with us and our latest innovations."
Revolutionary HiVision
HiVisionTM, which was first presented in Bauma, enables crane operation with virtual reality goggles. The new vision system allows safe and comfortable crane operation inside the truck cabin. A system with cameras on top of the forestry crane enables the operator to see the working area and operate the crane using Virtual Reality (VR) goggles - the HiVisionTM 3D control system, which is unique in the industry. We welcome all visitors in Elmia to see and experience the HiVisionTM system!
New HIAB mid-range and heavy-range loader cranes in Elmia
The HIAB mid-range cranes are under renewal with several new models coming. In Elmia Hiab will launch the HIAB X-HiPro 232, which provides the highest efficiency in the 20-tonmeter range with the most advanced control system in the industry to ensure precise and fast crane operating. The new model is approximately 300kg lighter than the previous model which means 300kg more payload. The new HIAB mid-range cranes are available with a full selection of manual and remote control systems, which gives the operator the freedom to choose a system that answers exactly to his/her needs.
In Elmia Hiab will showcase its biggest cranes, HIAB X-HiPro 858 and X-HiPro 1058 which are meant for heavy duty load handling with high capacity.
Other products on Hiab stand
In addition to HiVisionTM and innovations from HIAB loader cranes, we will present our load handling solutions from MOFFETT truck-mounted forklifts and MULTILIFT XR26SL, the new low built hooklift that optimizes driver's operation for customers using heavy loads. With the capacity over 26 ton and the low weight it makes it the strongest and best in class.
We warmly welcome you to meet us on our stand, U501:10!
