OAK BROOK (dpa-AFX) - McDonald's have launched a new app that allows customers to McRib-- the limited-edition mystery meat sandwich.
The new iPhone-only app installs inside the iMessage app. It helps hungry fans to find McRib sandwiches using the smartphone's GPS to find the nearest McRib-selling McDonald's. Users can also share the location with friends and send McRib-themed stickers, all within the Messages app.
Earlier last week, McDonald's had announced its plans to launch a mobile order-and-pay service for customers.
