WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - AB InBev's non-alcoholic Budweiser Prohibition beer will be launched in the UK this year. Budweiser had launched the non-alcohol beer in Canada last year.
The sale of non-alcoholic beverages have jumped in the UK between 2010 and 2015. According to reports, the UK have consumed 18.2 million liters of non-alcoholic beer last year.
According to Delish, the Budweiser Prohibition Brew is brewed the same way, with the same hops, yeast, and filtered water. But, during the final stages of brewing process, the alcohol is removed through a special process, which makes it 100% alcohol free.
Meanwhile, the brewer has no current plans to bring the alcohol-free version to the United States.
