WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Tenet Healthcare Corp. (THC) announced that Trevor Fetter has stepped down from his role as chief executive officer and resigned as a director of the company, effective October 23, 2017.
The company's board has appointed its executive chairman Ronald Rittenmeyer to serve as chief executive officer, while it continues its search for a permanent chief executive officer.
Tenet previously announced on August 31, 2017 the planned departure of Fetter, the commencement of a search for a new chief executive officer, and the appointment of Rittenmeyer as executive chairman and principal executive officer.
