BERKELEY, CA / ACCESSWIRE / August 13, 2018 / KorroBox is excited to announce the launch of their Ethereum blockchain based gaming marketplace. The KorroBox platform features nine PC games on its initial launch with plans to add many more publishers and developers. The size of the game studios range from smaller studios like AutoAttack Games to larger independent developers like New World Interactive.
Benjamin Huang, Co-Founder and CEO, said of the launch, "KorroBox is taking the first step in transforming how people play, share, and connect in games. We have an opportunity to deliver personalized gaming experiences that players are looking for."
The games industry has seen a huge emergence of blockchain related games and platforms in the past couple of months. The start-up, based in Silicon Valley and backed by UC Berkeley and its accelerator program, Skydeck, is looking to take an approach of rapid development and fast iterations based on feedback from developers and players. Many projects in the blockchain space suffer from long development cycles -- KorroBox looks to break that and deliver value immediately to its players.
"We're excited to reveal what we've been working on since February. Our partners are excited to be at the forefront of development for blockchain tech, and we are looking forward to the journey ahead," said Bao Lam, Co-Founder and COO.
