NEW YORK, April 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Pomerantz LLP is investigating claims on behalf of investors of Boston Scientific Corporation ("Boston Scientific" or the "Company") (NYSE: BSX). Such investors are advised to contact Robert S. Willoughby at rswilloughby@pomlaw.com or 888-476-6529, ext. 9980.
The investigation concerns whether Boston Scientific and certain of its officers and/or directors have engaged in securities fraud or other unlawful business practices.

The FDA stated that "the manufacturers, Boston Scientific and Coloplast, have not demonstrated a reasonable assurance of safety and effectiveness for these devices," as required to continue marketing the devices in the United States.
On this news, Boston Scientific's stock price fell $2.90 per share, or 7.67%, over the following two trading sessions, closing at $34.91 on April 17, 2019.
