TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / May 8, 2019 / AirIQ Inc. ("AirIQ") (TSXV: IQ), a supplier of wireless asset management services, today announced the integration of the AirIQ Fleet solution with a major construction customer's AEMP Telematics software solution provider.
The Association of Equipment Management Professionals ("AEMP") developed an ISO approved telematics standard by creating a common data format that facilitates combining mixed fleet data together on a single portal, enabling fleet operators to manage their whole fleet across different OEMs and machine types. By pulling data from AirIQ Fleet through AirIQ's API ("Application Programming Interface"), the customer's software solution provider aggregates the information to create a single source of unified operational data. The customer can then access dynamic, real-time data from multiple applications - including AirIQ Fleet - for fleet management and maintenance, field tracking, estimating, employee management, scheduling, data capture, analysis and more.
"We are very pleased that we were able to participate in this collaboration with our customer and their software solution provider," stated Mike Robb, President and Chief Executive Officer of AirIQ. "This integration of AirIQ Fleet with another software application is a further example of the value of our solution, which we expect will open doors to other similar opportunities down the road," continued Mr. Robb.
