Kava, the first DeFi platform built on Cosmos technology, will undergo notable changes available for the first time on February 18, 2021 as the Kava team today announces its plans to integrate IBC in its next major software release. Thanks to the native Cosmos Stargate upgrade, faster code execution, and higher overall throughput are within reach following the integration. These changes will equally benefit all other projects built on the Cosmos ecosystem that also integrate IBC, but Kava is the first to utilize the composability of IBC to bring DeFi to all Cosmos projects first.
