BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - The U.S. retail sales for July are due at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While it rose against the pound and the euro, it dropped against the yen and the franc.
The greenback was worth 109.26 against the yen, 1.1767 against the euro, 1.3790 against the pound and 0.9101 against the franc as of 8:25 am ET.
