(Nasdaq: SHPH), a discovery and development stage specialty pharmaceutical company focused on improving the outcomes of cancer patients treated with radiation therapy (RT) while reducing side effects, announced today the pricing of its initial public offering of 1,225,888 units of common stock and warrants, which priced at $8.125 per unit, raising gross proceeds of $9,960,340 . Each unit consists of one share of common stock and a warrant to purchase one share of common stock. Each of the warrants is immediately exercisable for one share of common stock at an exercise price of $0.01 per share and will expire five years from the date of issuance. It is the intention of the underwriters to cause the warrants to be immediately exercised upon completion of the offering.
Shuttle Pharmaceutical's common stock is expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 under the symbol "SHPH." The offering is expected to close on Friday, September 2, 2022 , subject to customary closing conditions.
