Toronto, Ontario--(Newsfile Corp. - July 11, 2023) - BAIDS (Business Advisory Implementation Development Services) announces the upcoming celebration of its 2nd anniversary on July 13th. This significant milestone not only marks two years of empowering Black-owned businesses it also signifies the continuation of the impactful programs by the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA)
The anniversary celebration, at Laz Authentic Cuisine Inc, one of the successful participants of the BAIDS program, will serve as the perfect platform to kick off the next phase of BAIDS' initiatives. It will also mark the start of the highly anticipated "Hear our stories: the Black entrepreneurs journey with the BBPA's BAIDS program." This initiative aims to provide a platform for BAIDS participants to share their inspiring stories, shed light on their entrepreneurial journeys and the transformative impact of the BAIDS program.
"This celebration will bring together a community of entrepreneurs, supporters, and advocates dedicated to empowering Black-owned businesses. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with BAIDS participants, hear their inspiring stories, and witness firsthand the impact of the program." says Frances Delsol, VP Partnerships, Outreach and Procurement, who is also the lead for the BAIDS program.
In addition, following the anniversary event, BAIDS will relaunch the new season of the "BAIDS Thursdays" program. Thanks to the generous funding from RBC and the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, this program will continue to provide educational sessions facilitated by industry experts. These sessions will cover a wide range of topics tailored to the needs of Black entrepreneurs, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to succeed in today's business landscape. Additionally, the celebration will feature a delectable spread of culinary delights, by Diakhia R Lezama, the Chef and owner of Laz Catering Inc who was one of the first recipients of the BAIDS program. She will be providing guests with a taste of success while celebrating the collective accomplishments of the BBPA's BAIDS program.
