The library of resources under the free plan now includes more generic paperwork like knowledge organizers, progression maps, vocabulary lists and book recommendations for all subjects with relevant assemblies. The free program will also enable teachers to create, duplicate, edit and share the lessons via links with other teachers. The move is part of company's commitment to helping teachers manage their workloads and amplify their classroom impact.
The company, owned by Findel, pledged to keep investing in creating more powerful tools and features in the platform to help teachers streamline tasks and make their lives easier.
Talking to the media, CEO of the Findel Education Ltd, Chris Mahady, said, "We firstly want to wish all teachers around the world, a happy Teacher's Day. It's important to recognise the pivotal role teachers play in shaping our community's future. With EuHu, we are trying to address the issue educators face with a lack of time with innovative free tools and features to inspire, support and empower them. Our goal is to help reshape the educational landscape by providing educators with modern tools that help restore their work-life balance without breaking the bank."
The free platform helps teachers plan lessons with intuitive templates and curriculum alignment tools. The resources have been designed to help teachers spend less time on administrative tasks and more time focusing on teaching and creative initiatives.
Project Lead for EuHu, Chris Burgess, remarked, "As educators ourselves, we understand the challenges teachers face daily. That's why we take pride in creating an ecosystem that helps make their lives easier and unlocks students' potential. The lesson plans for teachers allow users to aggregate and collaborate even if they bring it from other platforms like Oak or Twinkl. So any of the thousands of teachers that use Twinkl for convenience can use EuHu to customise their resources.
"We want to democratise access to the EuHu Teaching Hub, enabling more people to access ready-to-go assemblies, over 100 WOW lessons, and progression maps. Our ecosystem also gives teachers access to engaging podcasts and topical articles from a wide variety of guests who share their experiences on improving productivity with everyone."
They also revealed that its passionate core of educators is working on developing more professional educational resources for both early years and secondary school. Content under development includes templates, podcasts, interactive tools and articles so teachers can continuously improve their knowledge and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in education. The library of resources covers all subjects ranging from English, computing, religious beliefs, math and science that primary teachers, nursery practitioners, and teaching assistants need in their daily practice.
Commenting on the release of the free resources, Educator Specialist Carla Bonner said, "These free tools are a great gesture on the part of EuHu. Teachers that don't want to pay for different subscriptions to education platforms can easily switch over to EuHu without spending a single dime. The free resources will help teachers to experiment with different tools so they can start to digitise their processes to the benefit of themselves and the students."
Chris Burgess went on to add, "We are already planning on releasing new features after gathering feedback on educators' evolving needs. We have exciting topics in the pipeline, including how teachers can leverage artificial intelligence in the classroom. The platform has been developed with teacher-to-teacher collaboration at the heart of its design, which allows them to share resources, lesson plans, and strategies. Our engineers are working on making the platform more user-friendly to encourage more educators to try the tools and take advantage of them. We want to keep improving the product just like we have with other Findel brands like Hope, GLS, Philip Harris, and Davies Sports. Our team is grateful for the community's love and aims to reach as many teachers as possible so they can continue to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of millions of students worldwide."
