Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) has allocated 250 MW/500 MWh of storage at $5,429/MW per month. The winning developers must have track records of installing battery energy storage systems (BESS) in India, to make them available to GUVNL for charging/discharging on an "on-demand" basis.
