CIECH S.A. shares were quoted on the Warsaw equity trading floor on the 6th March 2024. By way of decision of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the shares were withdrawn after the decision on this matter was unanimously made by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. This is the result of the effective purchase of the shares in this chemical firm by KI Chemistry, a company from the Kulczyk Investments Group, which became the 100% owner of CIECH shares.
The shares of the chemical company have been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 10 February 2005. KI Chemistry became a strategic investor of CIECH in 2014, when it acquired 51.14 percent of the company shares. Since then, it has successfully supported the strategy and development of the CIECH Group and its transformation into a modern group with a growing position on international markets. Over the last nine years, the company has invested approximately PLN 5 billion in development by, among others, building a modern evaporated salt plant in Germany and acquiring a Spanish distributor of plant protection products.
The stock exchange history of CIECH is coming to an end, but the ambitious development plans for our Group do not end. The priorities remain unchanged - development on global markets based on innovation and operational excellence supported by the digitisation of business and production processes. We will be carrying out all these activities taking into account the ideas of sustainable development, implementation of our ESG Strategy and maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance - says Kamil Majczak, President of the Management Board of CIECH S.A.
