· Year-on-year series production up 23% after first four months
· All-time monthly highs established in January, February, March and April
[Stockholm, 7 May 2024] - Series production continues to post strong gains, as April marked the fourth consecutive month of all-time monthly production highs for SinterCast. With annualised production of 4.4 million Engine Equivalents, April also marked the second highest month on record for series production. Overall, the annualised volume for the first four months of the year finished at 4.0 million Engine Equivalents, providing 23% growth compared to the first four months of 2023.
"Following New Year holidays in January, summer shutdowns for our southern hemisphere customers in February and an early Easter in March, April provided the first full month of the year to really demonstrate our current market demand. With this strong start to the second quarter, we reiterate our confidence in extending our string of year-on-year quarterly production increases to thirteen consecutive quarters" said Dr Steve Dawson, President & CEO of SinterCast. "April also moved the needle on our 2024 installation campaign. We made good progress with our ongoing discussions for new installations and upgrades, and our engineers are preparing for a busy second-half of 2024 in the field. The continued progress in the installation discussions reinforces our confidence to exceed our average historical installation revenue of SEK 8 million in 2024."
