Romanian energy company TMK Hydroenergy Power has switched on the country's first floating solar project. The facility, located on a pond in Caras Severin county, is connected to a hydropower plant. Romanian energy company TMK Hydroeneregy Power, belonging to the Evryo Group which, in turn, is a subsidiary of the Czech power utility CEZ, has launched in collaboration with Innovation Norway the first large-scale floating photovoltaic energy system in Romania.
