On 1 September 2023, the board of YA Holding AB (publ) ("YA Holding" or the "Company") published estimates regarding the group's financial performance for the full year 2024. YA Holding today announces revised estimates for 2024 following a more negatively than expected development of the subsidiary Arcus Utbildning & Jobbförmedling AB's ("Arcus") financial performance. During autumn of 2023, the market volumes for Arcus was negatively affected due to the switch to a new matching service, and during the fourth quarter of 2023, Arcus started to implement the new rehabilitation service Step to work (Sw. Steg till arbete), which has had larger than expected start-up and operational costs, also during the second quarter 2024, which has effected the costs for the group.
As a result of the above, the estimates of the group's financial development that was published on 1 September 2023 need to be revised. For 2024, YA Holding estimates the group's turnover to be approximately SEK 800 (720) million. While turnover is expected to increase, YA Holding anticipates EBIT will fall significantly below the SEK 46 million (excluding non-recurring items) as published on 1 September 2023. The figures have neither been revised nor reviewed by YA Holdings' auditor and the final outcome for turnover regarding 2024 may differ significantly from the Company's estimates.
