Tortoise Capital Announces Index Updates for Third Quarter 2024 and Change of Methodology for the Tortoise North American Pipeline Indexsm

OVERLAND PARK, KS / ACCESSWIRE / September 13, 2024 / Tortoise Capital today announced upcoming additions and deletions to its indices as part of its regular quarterly rebalancing for the third quarter of 2024. Following the close of trading on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, the indices will be rebalanced according to their stated methodologies and as a result, the following changes will become effective.

In addition, Tortoise Capital today announced a change to the concentration limits in the Tortoise North American Pipeline IndexSM (TNAP) methodology. Affiliated securities that share a significant amount of cash flow will now be limited to a 7.5% maximum weight. The change will be effective with the quarterly rebalance reference date of September 11, 2024, which begins trading at the open on September 23, 2024.
